As part of the Your Place In Space initiative, the Department of Education invites you to explore their space-inspired K-12 STEM resources on its agency website. We hope you find helpful materials that equip and empower your students to discover, explore, and create their place in space! 

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Education, has developed seven unique science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) Design Challenges, five for grade 6-8 and two for grades 3-5. Each STEM challenge is based upon real mission data and experiences that occur during human and robotic exploration of the solar system.
